Unattended Cremation

This is also known as a direct cremation. A direct cremation is a no-frills funeral. When someone has died, we bring them into our care and then provide an unattended cremation at a time confirmed to the family. The deceased can be dressed in their own clothes, and they can be viewed in the Chapel of Rest if the family wish at no extra cost. This is a great funeral for someone who does not want a lot of fuss.

Unattended cremation – £795 plus third-party fees

• Bringing the deceased into our care.
• Transporting them to the crematorium.
• Unattended cremation at a local crematorium
• Viewing in the Chapel of Rest
• Dressing of the deceased in their own clothes
• Ashes brought back to the funeral home for collection by the family or taken to the next of kin’s house.

Total cost of funeral £1,295 – includes coffin, cremation and return of ashes to family.
